User Journey Mapping Project

Overview

For this project, I created a user journey map based on real-time observations of three users interacting with a mobile app. The goal was to understand the emotional flow and usability challenges users experience while completing common tasks within the app.

Process and Tools

I observed users as they navigated the app, took notes on their reactions, and identified patterns in their experiences. The journey map was designed using Adobe InDesign to organize the stages, touchpoints, and user emotions. To represent emotional shifts visually, I used custom smiley icons created in Adobe Illustrator.

This project helped me better understand how design impacts user emotion and the importance of intuitive navigation, feedback, and tool discoverability in app design.
